The ninth edition of the GJIIE commenced on the morning of the 16th of March 2013 here in Chennai, with that wonderful celebratory style, unique to Indian culture. With an orchestra of traditional South Indian instruments, from the maelam to the nathaswaram to the thavil rendering uplifting traditional music, the Chief Guest, Mr. Rajendran, was ushered into the exhibition to light the ceremonial kuthuvillaku.
