“Trade exhibitions are channels for business opportunities and we are always happy to see the June Fair successfully fulfil its role in bringing ample business opportunities to our exhibitors. This year, thousands of professional buyers flocked to Hong Kong for the Fair. We are particularly happy to note that the number of overseas visitors was up 30 percent to 9,950. We saw a significant rise in the number of visitors from two of the world’s fastest growing markets: China and India, up 30 percent and 33 percent, respectively. These robust markets inject new purchasing power to the market,” said Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs of UBM Asia Ltd.

The Fair also attracted 9,144 visitors from Hong Kong and the presence of 72 representatives of 49 media outfits worldwide, confirming the Fair’s key position in the jewellery industry.
