Mining giant Rio Tinto’s one-of-a-kind Argyle pink diamond tiara added some sparkle to the Masterpieces London Fair, a unique event that showcased fine art, wine, jewellery and cars in June.
The tiara, which features 178 Argyle pink diamonds, is a reflection of the importance of exclusive design and quality craftsmanship when transforming rare and precious diamonds into important pieces of jewellery. “The Argyle pink diamond tiara combines the mystique and romance of a bygone era with the design of a contemporary treasure. This is truly a unique piece that showcases beautifully the colours, sizes and shapes of rare pink diamonds from the Argyle mine,” said John Glajz, authorised partner of Argyle Pink Diamonds.
Commenting on the design of the diamond tiara, Josephine Archer, business manager for Argyle Pink Diamonds, said: “We are delighted with the design of the tiara which has the simple yet subtle mystique that all great jewels should have.”
The tiara was displayed by iconic jeweller Asprey at Masterpieces London Fair, along with other rare Argyle pink diamonds and pink diamond jewellery.
